About this artwork
Here, I allow the lines to interlock more closely, creating a denser, more complex structure. The form appears like a body withdrawing inwards. I experience this image as a state of introspection and intensification.
In my series of visual meditations, drawings emerge from a mindful, continuous flow of lines. Without preliminary sketches, the lines coalesce into still, corporeal forms reminiscent of shells or inner figures. The works open up meditative… pictorial spaces that invite slow contemplation and the perception of stillness, transformation, and presence.
