About this artwork
This painting is one of the "Joy" collection. To make artwork I used liquid technique pouring fluid acrylic to the canvas. It creates ease and airiness
in the picture.
I was inspired by saturated colors of juicy fruits. Applying layer by layer of liquid paint I made smooth gradient from deep crimson down below and pink-silver from above. Combination of elegance and taste.

« I live to paint and paint to live because I identify myself with art. »
Irina Shtefan is a painter from Ukraine who has exhibited in Kiev. Her expressionistic style is conveyed through ‘internal impulse’ as well as the emotions evoked from certain objects. All of Shtefan’s compositions are an experiment with materials, tools and styles. She favors acrylics on canvas and synthetic board, often peeling layers of liquid paint to reveal hidden textures.
