About this artwork
"Into the void" represents the ability to let go, experience the unknown, take a leap into the void. To do this you have to trust yourself and even more than your body.

« So many answers to find so many questions. »
Irene Giannaccini is an experienced sculptor based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in France and Norway. Inspired by the texts of feminist philosphers such as Simone de Beavoir and Germaine Greer, she represents women through the female form in search for "her liberation". Giannaccini employs varying techniques from ancient to contemporary and favors materials such as marble, wood, bronze, and terra cotta.
