“Pale Pour” explores the quiet tension of a gesture passed through generations. A stream of luminous white wine moves between presence and memory, suspended in a moment of controlled release.
The composition balances a refined realism in the glass and the flowing gesture with an intentionally textured, atmospheric background. Warm patinated tones contrast with cool silvery reflections, allowing the wine to glow from within.
Rather than depicting… wine as an object, this work reflects on ritual, continuity and inherited gestures — the intimate act of pouring as a silent transmission of tradition.
Using warm, earthy tones, I aimed to evoke a sense of intimacy and richness. The gesture blends realism with abstract expression, inviting you to feel the energy and anticipation in the pour. This painting brings warmth and a lively, graceful spirit to any space.
