In my work I combine expressionist and impressionist elements with a touch of naivety and semi-abstract representation. The choice of oil paints allows for deep, intense hues and creates a mysterious, almost dreamlike atmosphere. The central element, a figure radiating loneliness in the foreground, contrasts strongly with the lively, almost floating buildings in the background. The… dynamic between the stillness of the figure and the almost surreal architecture reflects the complexity of human emotions and our longing for belonging and understanding in an often incomprehensible world.
