Using acrylics and chalk, I have captured feelings that fluctuate between tranquility and inner turmoil. This work is an abstract encounter between minimalism and expressionism – it invites you to find peace within the chaos of colors and forms. The soft blue tones bring a cool freshness to any room and awaken a longing for vastness and freedom.

Iris Schiebener primarily uses oil painting, bringing a solid foundation to her work through her background in graphic design and her studies in painting and graphics. Her landscapes are abstract and reduced, while her nudes are more realistic and detailed. She experiments with contrasts between natural motifs and human representations, thus creating striking moods. Her works invite the viewer to lose themselves in the diversity and fleetingness of the moment and convey a deep, empathetic connection to nature.
