About this artwork
In my work I was inspired by the infinity and the mood of the sky. The oil paints allow one to capture the fleeting, almost dreamlike quality of clouds and light. Abstract expressionism allows me to express feelings beyond pure form. I wanted to create a sensory experience that conveys openness and invites the viewer to dream. The image will bring an atmosphere of calm and inspiration to any room.

Iris Schiebener is a passionate German painter who has exhibited her works in Germany, Switzerland and the US. Despite drawing direct inspiration from nature, her abstract works are not at all representational, designed instead to allow people to lose themselves in art, become immersed in each painting and let their thoughts and feelings be carried off into another world. Her figurative pieces, on the other hand, are mostly inspired by animals and scenes of life.
