In my work I have played with acrylic paints to create an abstract and expressionistic representation of growing life. Symbols of nature and renewal flow together in vibrant green tones and organic shapes that curve across the canvas. This composition is a tribute to the constant pursuit of growth and the beauty of nature. It will bring an invigorating energy to any home, a daily reminder of vitality and hope.

« My works are a stimulus. I would like to give the viewer an impetus to think further so that the work stays alive. Offensive, attractive, and sophisticated. »
Iris Vitzthum is an award-winning painter and draftsman based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Japan, China, and the United States. She describes her artistic process as originating from the observation of her surroundings. Searching for the substrate, Vitzthum says that she steals, destroys, lies, and exaggerates in her surreal compositions. She creates using acrylics, oils, pigments, and India ink on canvas.
