In this painting, I explore the quiet presence of nature in winter. A white hare stands still within a snow-covered forest, surrounded by soft light and muted colors. I use gentle blues, violets, and warm highlights to convey a sense of calm, silence, and attentive stillness. This work reflects a moment of quiet connection between the viewer and the natural world.

I am a Vienna-based artist originally from Kyiv, Ukraine. Passionate about painting since childhood, I studied at the art school of the Teacher’s House in Kyiv. After a successful career as an economist and banker, I returned to my creative roots, working in watercolor, oil, and later acrylics.
Since moving to Austria in 2019, I have honed my skills through private lessons, courses at the Vienna Adult Education Centre (VHS), and online studies with Natalia Nosyk’s art school. My works have been exhibited and recognized in competitions. My art reflects a confident use of color, light, and composition, inspired by nature, seascapes, and still life.
