About this artwork
Painted en plein air, this work captures the warm and inviting atmosphere of a popular café in Vienna, located not far from where I live. The play of sunlight and shadows on the pavement, the gentle rustle of leaves, and the relaxed conversations of locals enjoying their drinks reflect the city’s unique charm. It is a glimpse into everyday Viennese life — peaceful, lively, and full of character.

I am a Vienna-based artist originally from Kyiv, Ukraine. Passionate about painting since childhood, I studied at the art school of the Teacher’s House in Kyiv. After a successful career as an economist and banker, I returned to my creative roots, working in watercolor, oil, and later acrylics.
Since moving to Austria in 2019, I have honed my skills through private lessons, courses at the Vienna Adult Education Centre (VHS), and online studies with Natalia Nosyk’s art school. My works have been exhibited and recognized in competitions. My art reflects a confident use of color, light, and composition, inspired by nature, seascapes, and still life.
