About this artwork
Majestic with its distinctive bluish and grey colors. And white collar. This bird lives around lakes, rivers, bays, channels, and fjords.
Sister species to the Belted Kingfisher of North America.
The Ringed Kingfisher is widespread in central and South America. The artist is currently residing in Chile, living in the south in a region full of nature, trees, and rivers. It's one of her pleasures to get on a boat or paddle board with her dog for some… beautiful views and bird watching. Here she has had many encounters with this beautiful and colorful bird.
