About this artwork
In creating this piece, I explored the theme of vigilant perception and the unveiling of inner truths. I chose resin and wood for their robust, enduring qualities, embedding the essence of resilience. The single, open eye symbolizes continuous observation and insight, crafted to provoke introspection and awareness in any space it graces, inviting viewers to look beyond the surface and connect with deeper realities.
Eye made of cedar carved wood…
Circular frame made of MDF. Polyurethane matte finish

Isaac Renteria is a painter and photographer based in Mexico whose works have been exhibited in China. He describes his works as reflecting freedom, love, and dreams. In addition, Renteria's distinctive still-life scenes are imbued with symbolism. While some aspects are intentional, others originate from his subconscious. Almost all of the objects featured in his digital photographs are made by him in his studio.
