About this artwork
I was inspired on a painting by Hilma Af Klint where you can read EVOLUTION and she represented a white and a black dog. As I have an extense archive of photos i have made of dogs, I decided for an exhibition to make several long horizontal works portraying dogs in different manners, to be installed as a long frieze
Here I mixed different elements of my paintings, drawings, and writing work, using some of my diverse dogs, a plain and a pattern.… The homage to Af Klint is only present in the word Evolution I also used.
I admire the vitaliy and spiritual elements in her work. I use dogs generally with sense of humour.
