“Rebelde”, created in November of 2025, and like all the seas I have been painting so far, is invented.
With this painting I refer to rebellion through its dynamic yet calm appearance.
It's a painting and a sea that generates tranquility and strength!
Where light and darkness are shown without hiding their struggle, a tense back and forth in a serene dance.
And that is because, nowadays, rebellion is a poetic act and, for me, it bears witness… to the critical eye.
It focuses attention on and shakes up what is stagnant, assumed, or accepted.
