About this artwork
A large fig leaf spreads out against a dark sky
on the side a strip completes the swimming, deliberately mysterious.
It is a poetic research which questions our relationship to nature. Which connects nature and culture.

« Painting allows me to go back to basics, to unite nature and culture, sharing a universe that dreams, loses and transforms. »
Immersed in landscapes, Isabelle Dansin perceives the presence of an invisible world filled with mystery and energy. She translates her love of the vitality of plants and trees into her paintings and prints. Dansin believes that the representation of the tree, the main subject of her research, questions humanity. Painting with acrylics on paper, she then marouflages the piece onto canvas.
