About this artwork
Still life with pumpkin. In this work on canvas, the artist sought to make the subject appear in three dimensions. By overexposing certain parts, left deliberately white, confused with the white background of the canvas and by projecting pigments on the canvas to give thickness, the artist wanted to bring this still life to life. She treats her subject on canvas by painting close to watercolor, wanting to push her work towards abstraction.
