"There is no happiness without courage, nor virtue without struggle."
JEAN-JACQUES ROUSSEAU
The statue 'Revolution' embodies the struggle of peoples for freedom, combining lace, iron, and terracotta. These materials symbolize the delicacy, resilience, and strength of human ideals. Through this work, every detail of the lace and every curve of the iron tells the story of a revolution as fragile as it is unwavering.
Isabelle Rivière, guided from childhood by a rich imagination, worked for many years in finance and law before returning to her true artistic calling in 2016. A self-taught artist, she discovered in working with clay and painting an instinctive language where forms and colors emerge naturally. Her creativity was quickly recognized with a Medal of Honor from the Museums and Culture of Europe. Her world unfolds along two paths: sculpture, imbued with spirituality and timelessness, where each sculpted woman embodies memory and freedom; and abstract painting, intuitive and liberated, created without a brush, where vibrant colors burst forth like raw emotions. A humanist and utopian, nourished by philosophy, Isabelle Rivière conceives her creations as spiritual relics, fragments of eternity that perpetuate the voice of the ancients and offer it to the present.
