About this artwork
This piece began as a quiet exploration — I didn’t start with a clear plan, only a feeling. I was drawn to blue: not just as a color, but as a temperature, a mood, a memory. I layered the paint slowly, letting textures build naturally, allowing each brushstroke or scrape to suggest the next. There were moments of stillness, and others where I introduced flashes of warmth — as if light were breaking through mist or water. It became a balance of contrast:… softness and strength, coolness and glow, presence and space. For me, it’s not a painting of something — it’s a space to feel something.
I create abstract paintings inspired by atmosphere, nature, and emotion—reflecting my inner world shaped by landscapes, architecture, travel, and vibrant color. Using mixed media like acrylics, pigments, crackle powder, and sand, I build rich, layered textures that give form to feeling. My process blends intuitive expression with refined technique, balancing stillness and movement, light and shadow. Rooted in abstract expressionism, my work is visually cohesive and emotionally resonant, inviting both contemplation and connection. For me, art is a transmission of energy, presence, and beauty.
