About this artwork
This piece began as a quiet exploration — I didn’t start with a clear plan, only a feeling. I was drawn to blue: not just as a color, but as a temperature, a mood, a memory. I layered the paint slowly, letting textures build naturally, allowing each brushstroke or scrape to suggest the next. There were moments of stillness, and others where I introduced flashes of warmth — as if light were breaking through mist or water. It became a balance of contrast:…
