Izabella Chulkova is a Russian painter who has lived in Germany for over 20 years. Her art is featured in several permanent collections in both Russia and Ukraine. Within her works, she seeks to preserve human emotion and experience like a “bee in amber”, capturing an essence that is sometimes lost through words. Chulkova is fascinated by light and its refraction in different environments. Having previously worked with oils for many years, she now prefers to use acrylics in her pieces.
