My collection UBUNTU is inspired by the philosophy of Nelson Mandela. The South African wisdom that we are all connected: WE are more than I am. For this series I travelled with my brushes. The accent is on so many beautiful, different people living together in one world.
BOYZ WILL BE BOYZ is about the man who, next to his masculine side, can also have the more feminine sides and is painted with oil paint and mixed… media.

JAC is an artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been featured in numerous solo exhibitions nationally. Her figurative works are inpsired by what lies hidden behind the eyes. For JAC, there is nothing in the body that expresses love, sorrow, amazement, humor, anger, pain, emotion, excitement and longing as visibly as our eyes. She creates using acrylics, oils, and collage on linen.
