In the painting FOCUS I depicted the bustle by sticking clippings from the Financieel Dagblad, the criminal code, the art newspaper and a philosophical magazine on my linen canvas. This diversity of information makes you feel what is constantly flying through your head. The financial issues, the rules, the aesthetic side of life. It is difficult… to find our balance. The financial issues, the rules, the aesthetic side of life. It's courageous to find your balance in it.

« I am a storyteller with paint. »

JAC is an artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been featured in numerous solo exhibitions nationally. Her figurative works are inpsired by what lies hidden behind the eyes. For JAC, there is nothing in the body that expresses love, sorrow, amazement, humor, anger, pain, emotion, excitement and longing as visibly as our eyes.
