We are regularly triggered by what 'others' call: what is beautiful, fashionable or in. Every year there is a different hype and new demands are made on our appearance. As a result, we start to look more and more alike. Also on Social Media we massively show our most beautiful photo, with or without filters. We only look at the outside. The Twins is about this, these two women who look identical, but our inside is always different, that… makes us unique...
The Twins consists of two separate canvases that together form one painting.
