About this artwork
Pangaea is a lens of the earth as it was 300 million years ago before all continents were divided as they are now. Many of today’s mountain ranges were formed at the time of collision of continents. I find it fascinating to study the earth's changing landscape and topography, illustrating that nothing stays the same - all nature is in constant movement and in flux. I've chosen to illustrate my impression of the prehistoric supercontinent in copper…
on a glossy acrylic disc, suspended above an ultra black background to create a sense of awe and wonder.

« My work is the study and recreation of landscapes, either real or imaginary. I paint to connect to these landscapes and be present in them. »
