About this artwork
An explosion of light and colour representing the stellar nurseries found in deep space where young stars form from gasses and dust, gently coalescing together from gravity and matter. I've always had a fascination with astronomy and geology, this piece is an attempt to capture the awe I feel whenever I look up and wish I could travel beyond what is visible to the naked eye. The colours represented are formed from the same elements that came together…
to form our own planet, for this reason I view our distant neighbors as relatives to our own landscapes.

« My work is the study and recreation of landscapes, either real or imaginary. I paint to connect to these landscapes and be present in them. »
Jack Edmonds is an artist based in the United Kingdom whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions in England. Through his works, he endeavors to be as faithful as possible to the subject by trying to encourage the medium to behave as naturally as possible. Edmonds cites nature, both real and imagined, as being at the heart of his compositions. He most often creates with acrylics, spray paint, and resin on wood, canvas, or synthetic board.
