About this artwork
A study of chemical movement in collision. The two forms refuse to mix as they surge and cross each other, reminiscent of stellar gasses being pulled to and fro by huge gravitational pressures. This painting marked the beginning of the series and also the start of my experimentation with new materials and application techniques.

« My work is the study and recreation of landscapes, either real or imaginary. I paint to connect to these landscapes and be present in them. »
Jack Edmonds is an artist based in the United Kingdom whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions in England. Through his works, he endeavors to be as faithful as possible to the subject by trying to encourage the medium to behave as naturally as possible. Edmonds cites nature, both real and imagined, as being at the heart of his compositions. He most often creates with acrylics, spray paint, and resin on wood, canvas, or synthetic board.
