About this artwork
In this work I have captured the sturdy and timeless essence of a classic knife. My drawing, made with a pen, combines meticulous realism and energetic pop art, breathing new life into the vintage object through a figurative style. Each stroke of the pen is charged with emotion, evoking the memories and stories engraved in the blade and handle. This piece is not just a design, it is a vibrant tribute to tradition and craftsmanship, which will bring…
character and a touch of nostalgia to your interior.
Jacky Ananou
France
« More than a passion, drawing is a need that I can no longer do without. »
Jacky Ananou is a French painter and draftsman whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally. Journeying from free figuration to the abstract, he always returns to the portrait as his favorite medium. While Ananou's meticulously drawn compositions often feature human subjects, he also depicts animals, architecture, still-life, and abstractions. He creates using pen on paper.
