About this artwork
In interior No.63 a young lady seems to be carting a huge ant around. It sits on top of her high wooden cart. It is clearly much too big to fit inside of it. She is pushing it out of the room, like she is doing a spring cleaning. The circular shape of the wheels of the cart are reflected in the world map hanging on the wall, and also in the globe sitting in the room.
As in most works, Jaco combined digital and traditional techniques to produce an… image which is both playful and sinister, nostalgic and magical.
This photopolymer, or solar plate, etching is hand pulled in a limited edition of only 25 copies on 300 grams Hahnemühle etching paper.
image size: 30 cm x 30 cm (11,8 X 11,8 inches approx.)
paper size: 40 cm x 40 cm (15,7 X 15,7 inches approx.)
Each print is numbered and signed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
