#DoNotTouchMyClothes is the Afghan women's social campaign against the introduction of the burqa.
A "colorful" protest in opposition to the Taliban regime which imposes strict rules on the dress code. The tradition of Afghan clothes is in fact made of very colorful fabrics and small mirrors that multiply the light.
The campaign went viral and many Afghan women from all over the world started posting photographs of them in traditional and sophisticated… clothing. The initiative was launched by Bahar Jalali, a former history professor at the American University of Kabul.
The work is part of the series "Afghan Women - I Volti Cancelati".

Jacq is an experienced artist based in Italy whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in Spain. In addition, his art has been featured in publications such as El Mundo, Vanity Fair Italy, La Repubblica, etc. Through his minimalist figurative works, Jacq emdeavors to convey the synthesis of his subject's souls. However, he does not depict their eyes, as he believes that one's gaze lies in the eyebrows, the expressiveness of the contour of the face, and in one's posture.
