About this artwork
As the only white piece of the Gold and Copper Collection was sold recently, I started working on a new all-white painting. Simultaneously I was doing some research at the Rijksmueum Amsterdam, on Delft Blue for another collection (of portraits) I'm working on. I got so inspired by the 18th Century pieces, that I decided to hand-paint Delft Blue patterns into my all-white work.
As in all of the pieces of this collection, I used brush and palet knife… and 23.75K gold.
Although framing is not needed in any of the Gold and Copper Collection pieces, and all of them are ready to hang, # 58 could benefit greatly from a golden frame.
All works are ready to hang, no need for framing as the sides of my paintings are as important as the front of the works.
« Bright and vivid colors are my trademark. I use 24ct Gold in a lot of my works. Most of the works are made with brush and palette knife. Only the best quality canvas and paint is used. All my works are ready to hang and do not need framing »
