About this artwork
The Aurum Fenestra (Golden Window) series represent a bright view into the future.
All three of them consist of multiple layers and a thick impasto Gold Acrylic square (window) with some Gold leaf accents.
In all three works I used layers and structure to create depth.
"Aurum Fenestra III" is in bright Emerald Green, PhThalo Green, Petrol Blue and thick impasto gold.
In 2016 I switched from 17th C. realistic oil painting to large Abstracts (Abstract… Expressionism) as an (to me necessary) inner response to the fast-changing world and events that the world witnessed in the previous years
Creating my colorful vibrant Abstracts is a conscious choice of positivity, and stem from happiness and gratitude within, and from my inmense love for Colors and the positive effect they have on my mood.
None of my Artworks need to be framed, as I consider the sides as part of the whole work. They are ready to hang once they get to your home.

Jacqueline Mac Mootry-Everaert is an experienced Dutch artist whose paintings have been featured in solo and group shows internationally. After receiving a classical education in 17th Century techniques and realistic oil painting, she found her passion in creating large layered colorful abstracts. She has lived and worked in Brazil, the Caribbean and The Netherlands, defining her unique artistic style along the way. Jacqueline Mac Mootry's work has been in exhibits in Dubai, New York, London, Amsterdam, Dusseldorrf , Venice and other major cities around the world.
