About this artwork
In every work lies a magical feeling that marks the author's identification with their own work; we sought to associate "Hito" with the path traveled, a path with its crossroads, turns, with the not always easy road of life. The fact that, in my case, most of that journey has been professionally linked to the field of architecture has influenced the formal design of the work, resulting in a sculpture with a certain architectural vocation. This work…
reflects the union of the solid and the ethereal, using stone and iron to demonstrate strength and transparency. Their presence thus provides a modern and serene balance. In contrast to the closed forms of traditional sculpture, open forms unfold, forms that invite us to contemplate them as if they were transparent objects. This visual language, reduced to its essentials, allows the work to breathe stillness, silence, peace... ideal for transforming a space into a refuge for reflection and calm energy.
