About this artwork
For this series I portray the human drive both in a time of catharsis and homeostasis. A scene of tension created by the release and constriction of energy within an artwork.
Throughout this series my process is highly influenced by architecture because content generates as a construction; i often use geometric forms as backgrounds because their silence and solidity support the music emitted by the expressiveness of the action, gestural or spontaneous… which combined portray my intention.

Jaime Rozen is a dedicated Mexican artist who has exhibited his work nationally. His work researches the inherently expressive possibilities behind his process and premises as an abstract artist: experimentation, observation, understanding and registering. Rozen seeks for his art to act as a correlation between the epistemological and the phenomenological, unchained in a mechanic dance, in which form, color and space are the tryptic from which exploration sets off.
