In my abstract acrylic work I express a kaleidoscope of emotions. The bold brushstrokes and dynamic layers of color tell of an inner journey, of conflict and harmony. I want the viewer to be immersed in a world that is both chaotic and calming. With every look, a new aspect of the human experience should be explored, giving your home a deep, energetic atmosphere.

Jaio DosAnjos is an artist from Portugal based in Germany who has exhibited her paintings nationally, in Austria and Germany. In her works, she endeavors to convey the beauty and power of the elements through colors. However, she also depicts other personal themes through her compositions. DosAnjos' series entitled "Naufragio" (shipwreck) reflects her childhood experience of almost having drowned with her family fleeing Angola due to the civil war, which also relates to the current refugee movement across the Mediterranean.
