" Out,out brief candle.Told by an idiot,full of sound and fury,signifying nothing."
The title of this piece is taken from the words uttered by Macbeth upon learning of his wifes death, and all what these words imply. This is one of the wall sculptures that I sometimes make, to give the paintings a more 3 dimensional aspect. The materials comprising it are lightweight but robust ,covered with heavily primed canvas… .Its ready to be wall mounted.

James Cummins is an established artist from the United Kingdom whose paintings have been featured in solo and group shows internationally. Cummins first discovered art as a kid at the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool and was inspired to paint and sculpt. He has defined his current style in minimalist abstract works in acrylic or oil on canvas in sparse color palettes of black, white, and grey.
