About this artwork
I found this charming bistro on Rue De Temple, and painted the exterior. Later, I turned my attention to the interior, interpreting it in a semi-abstract way, that captured the feeling of warmth and vitality that was part of the experience. In this scene, we look towards the bar in back, lit from late afternoon sunlight, the bottles and mirrors taking on a glittering effect.
