In late 2003 James spent 6 weeks living and painting in Guanajuato City, in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. Situated on the Eastern edge of the Sierra Madre mountains, this perfectly preserved Spanish Colonial town is home to some wonderful examples of 17th Century European architecture.
