Inspired by James bond these photo montages were created to celebrate Ian Fleming’s Iconic characters. They are powerful portraits made up of erotic images which creates a double dimension; staying true to the bond essence, it is a mixture of the sensual and the daring.
The… first in the series is Daniel Craig, which the artist created for a one-off Bond themed show. It was also the first time he had attempted to create any collage work. The work was so popular he set about creating a series of art works.
After the artist had placed images in categories of values he also edited the size and contrast of the images. smaller images are used in the area which requires more detail and sharper images to focus the views eye. Softer and larger images to fill in the gaps.

James Vaulkhard is a Kenyan born painter and sculptor based in the United Kingdom whose works have been featured in numerous events nationally, as well as in Italy. Originally trained as a classical portrait artist, he has developed his own contemporary interpretation of the genre through multi-layered collages. Vaulkhard assembles numerous images that represent his subjects, forming multi-dimensional narratives of the iconic personages he portrays.
