About this artwork
As a realist painter I am attracted to the technical complexities of everyday life. My paintings are about the particularity between the relationship of our eyes with the subtleties of our immediate reaction. I'm inspired by the old masters and how they treated their still life paintings. I enjoy taking the ordinary and making it a beautiful object to study. I hope the buyer enjoys the chocolate, and child wonderment of eating a kit-kat bar.
