About this artwork
After the collapse of a huge factory in Bangladesh in 2013, a lone man walks into the wreckage, seeking survivors. The artist says it reminds her of Orpheus and Eurydice. Only a great love could draw the hero into that dusty, burning, collapsing building. Dust motes reflect in the light as he descends the steps into darkness and chaos, passing fires .
