In an aerial view, a herd of bison makes its way over the prairie. They graze as they go, gradually collecting numbers like a river until the leaders disappear over the edge of a hill. The colors of the print are gold and orange on the grass. The bison are painted in dioxizine purple, which reads as black or dark brown against the orange grass. The painting was done by palette knives in impressionist style.
