About this artwork
After the artist and her family moved into the Sierra Foothills in 2015, the wildlife there became an important part of life. Bears strolled through the neighborhood regularly, and travelled a game trail just outside the fence.
Jan and her daughter rescued owls, hawks, ravens, and other birds and transported them to rehabilitation with Sierra Wildlife.
So they became part of Jan Wall’s Art, as well, especially in The Peacable Kingdom, The Fox,… The Raven, and The Bears. Here a mother bear admires her tiny cub, who admires his tiny claws.
The original oil painting is sold, and the giclee prints on canvas are available in various sizes.
