There is something that fascinates us when we find a shell on the beach - we reach out and pick it up like a small surprise gift. The swirls, colors, tiny, detailed lines, all are simply captivating. This is an abstraction of a conch shell enhancing the swirls and fluted ridges. The browns and soft pinks are pleasing to the eye while the biomorphic shapes are familiar. This 18 X 24 inch oil painting is contemporary and is currently unframed.
