About this artwork
Janice was inspired by the abundance of colours dancing through her meditation and the gold crystalline forms moving through them and then a bee appeared to her….. and in response to this meditation she painted her memory of it. Bees hold such a special and crucial place in our lives and the life of our planet, and as the guardians of our planet we need to remember the importance of them and the order, good luck, prosperity, and abundance they bring… to us.
Janice Lazzarich is an accomplished painter with a background in graphic design and fine art, working primarily in oils and mixed media. She delights in expressive mark-making, employing visible brush strokes, palette knives, and textural effects as her style evolves toward the abstract and fantastical. Her vibrant, saturated colours and dynamic surfaces celebrate the natural world and spiritual interconnectedness. Her art radiates happiness, harmony, and wonder, inviting viewers to rediscover the joy and beauty in nature.
