About this artwork
Using a sketch she originally created on paper, it was mounted onto cradle board, and a dense application of oils and charcoal stick were applied to manipulate the surface, creating an image. While she doesn't intentionally set out to depict a specific pose or narrative, she continues painting until a visual presnts itself.
