This artwork is part of a series called "Inception". The series deals with the impact/relationship/impact that exists between the unseen/spiritual realm and the physical realm, specifically us as individuals.
In this work you can see streaks of color flowing down from above towards the man standing on a high point. It is referring to that feeling or experience of receiving either beautiful feelings, or thoughts, or ideas, or whatever, from a higher… source, outside of yourself.
This painting is done in oils & acrylics on board. It is not framed, and has no support structure at the back. However either can be added at extra cost.

Janna Prinsloo is a South African artist who has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally. Prinsloo was raised in a family of artists making her passion for art instinctive and fundamental. Her paintings release a real sense of optimism and hope as Prinsloo seeks to explore innermost human feelings. Oil on board is Prinsloo's favourite medium as this enables her to create texture and depth. All of her paintings include a focal figure surrounded by an abstract colour field, as a result her art has an entrancing and personal quality.
