About this artwork
The present work "accelerator" shows a woman's body, which is depicted on the side. The woman's body seems deliberately distorted and almost extraterrestrial. The present body stretches all limbs away from you. This creates a dynamic movement that gives the impression that the body is walking past you. Exactly this moment is captured by the artist. In keeping with this dynamic, the work was given the name "accelerator".
The work "accelerator" was… created on coarse-grained, structured paper. The blue color accent was set with pastel chalk and complements the charcoal work. The artist also worked with black ink over the pastel chalk.
The work was framed with a black aluminum frame and passe-partout under museum glass.
