About this artwork
The work "strong" is part of the series "modern venus", a topic that the artist has dealt with in her work for a long time and which is also the title of her current exhibition. Using charcoal, the artist has deliberately set lines and shading in her minimalist style in order to create the pose of the woman's body. Color accents were deliberately avoided so that the observer can take in the pose as a whole and not get lost in details. The body is…
shown from behind, standing upright. The pose of the woman's body is strong and sure. That is why the artist finally decided on the appropriate name "strong".
The work was framed under museum glass with a black aluminum frame.
