Jason Steyn is an experienced South African artist who has exhibited his work nationally. His aesthetic outlook was largely shaped by his experience growing up on a farm in Africa, where he was inspired by the colors and patterns of the wild. His sculpture materials include found objects, wood and ceramics, and for his paintings he predominately composes oil or acrylic on canvas works. His paintings are vivid voyages into Africa and Europe, and feature some of the famous faces and achievements found in both.
