Javier Mariscus’s fascination with the representation of human bodies and postures was born during a trip to Florence at age 14, where he was captivated by Michelangelo’s Battle of Centaurs sculpture. Inspired by Cubism, his drawings and paintings form striking expressions of limbs, torsos, feet...bodies in movement.
