I was intrigued by the face of a young lady sitting on a train looking outside with great anticipation. as if she was waiting for someone to arrive, she was getting restless as the train was about to leave. part of her face was covered with her saree pallu, and she looked like a rustic lady , unsure of the urban world. this gave me the idea of capturing her emotions on canvas.
